Your guides<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Otter Reindeerfarm is a family-run reindeer farm that has been part of the Saukko (eng. otter) family since 1948. The farm\u2019s host, Tapio Saukko<\/strong>, has spent his life working with reindeer. Today he still helps with daily herding, while letting the younger generation lead the farm\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tapio\u2019s son Joni<\/strong> and his wife Tuija<\/strong> take care of the reindeer and welcome guests to the farm. Tuija<\/strong> is the friendly voice behind every booking and the guide for most visits \u2013 a warm, humorous and down-to-earth Lappish woman who makes guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. Sometimes you might also meet their daughter Eeva<\/strong>, who loves spending time with the reindeer whenever she can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
